A Special Welcome
From the moment guests arrive, we want our guests to feel expected, welcomed, and genuinely valued. Every seat is prepared with care, because each person matters.
Our signature welcome sign is more than directional. It signals that something thoughtful is happening here and that this gathering was planned with intention. It helps guests feel at ease as they arrive and sets the tone for what is ahead.
Your instructor greets each guest warmly, helping everyone settle in, find their place, and feel comfortable before the painting even begins. We want to ensure everyone feels confident that they belong here.

Our goal is to transform whatever space you have into one that feels intentional, calming, and quietly special. In Every Setting
Indoor and Outdoor Spaces
For indoor gatherings, we help you rethink your layout. Sometimes that means moving a few pieces of furniture to create more breathing room. Sometimes it means turning your kitchen into a refreshment bar so guests can mingle naturally without needing extra tables.
For outdoor events, we help you think ahead about comfort. If your event extends past sundown, we recommend simple lighting so guests can see their work clearly. For warmer days, shade makes a big difference. During cooler months, heaters or fire features help keep everyone cozy and present.
We guide you through all of this in advance so nothing feels stressful or uncertain. Thoughtful planning leads to a relaxed experience.
Thoughtful Tablescapes
We selected our fabrics with care and hand-sewed our table runners because details matter. Guests may not always be able to explain why the space feels special, but they remember the little details. Beautiful, organized tables bring a sense of calm and show people they are valued.
We use ceramic vessels instead of plastic cups. Porcelain tile palettes instead of paper plates. These choices help create a peaceful, elevated environment without feeling formal or intimidating.
We also offer optional floral upgrades, custom tablecloth colors, and chair sashes to match your event’s tone and palette.
At their easel, guests will find thoughtfully placed soaps handmade by one of our partners, featuring our favorite scents inspired by California’s landscapes.

We don’t choose paintings randomly. Each design is selected through thoughtful feedback and guest surveys so we know what people actually want to live with, not just what’s trendy.
Our style palette includes influences like impressionism, abstract, and pop art, paired with more refined colors rather than basic primary tones.
Make it Personal
Our collection is intentionally personal and inspired by our little slice of heaven. We pull from the landscapes and communities around us. Coastal scenes, familiar California landscapes, and locations in Catalina, Los Angeles, and the natural beauty of Orange County. We also consider the heart of the communities we serve, including church groups, family-centered gatherings, and creative circles.
We aim to offer subjects that feel meaningful across many interests and identities. From dog lovers to surfers, minimalists to color lovers, each painting is meant to feel like it belongs to someone.
Guided With Care, Not Pressure
We are not here to chase perfection! We are here to help people enjoy their time, feel supported, and walk away proud of what they created.
Before anyone even picks up their brush, we lead a mini masterclass. This is where we cover the basics that make everything feel less intimidating. How to hold your brush. How to mix colors without overthinking. How to break a subject into simple shapes. Common problems and how to fix them.
This encourages our guests to feel confident to begin regardless of their experience.
Step by Step, At Your Pace
Once we begin painting, our instructor guides everyone through the process in clear, approachable steps.
We explain how to layer colors, how to create depth, and how to simplify what might look complicated at first glance. We demonstrate techniques slowly and repeat them when needed. There is room to pause, and questions are encouraged.
We prioritize individual attention. That means walking around, offering personal tips, noticing when someone feels stuck, and encouraging them through it.
We believe comparison steals joy, so we gently remind guests that every painting will look different, and that is the point.
Send Your Guests Home With More Than a Painting
At each Gold Frame Painting Event, we strive to offer more value than just a beautiful painting. We want the experience to deepen community, to serve as a space for people to breathe, and to have lasting effects in their lives.
At the end of each event, guests are invited to enter a small raffle as a thank-you for sharing the evening with us. Sometimes it’s a simple treat. When we collaborate with local businesses, it often includes something special from the community as well. From the warm welcome to a celebratory send-off, we want our guests to feel our gratitude for their being present.
