About Aria Shirley

I’m so glad you’re here!

I have loved art since I was able to scribble with crayons. If you want to chat about wood burning, watercolor markers, pop-up cards, photography, logo design, colored pencil, block printing, I am always down for a new art project!

My husband and I are adventure-obsessed adrenaline chasers who love a good fresh glass of orange juice in the morning. When I am not working, I am playing board games or off-roading in the desert with him.

My goal is for each guest who attends a Gold Frame event to feel they found a little pocket of peace in the midst of a crazy week, meeting each person where they are with encouragement and hospitality. I strive to provide easy instructions so anyone can create a painting they love, regardless of their experience with art. I hope my events are more than two hours of entertainment, so that when guests return to their busy lives and see their artwork at home, they remember the meaningful, lasting impact of spending time at our event.

Above all else, I hope every element of Gold Frame events reflects the beauty and peace Jesus offers, and that through this business, guests leave feeling His light and love.

Thank you for taking a moment to get to know me and my passion for art! I can’t wait to meet you and create a memorable occasion that your people will love!

  • Curry is my favorite food!

I grew up in Colorado. I love being out in the freezing snow! An ideal winter day involves skiing and a cup of hot apple cider.

The hardest part of adulting is insurance; I will probably never understand it.

I enjoy rock climbing with friends anytime I can.

I spent a few months in Ecuador learning Spanish.

    I am a recovering perfectionist.

I love listening to 1940s big band swing music! (vinyl record if you can!)

Above all else, I aspire to be a faithful wife to my gracious husband and honor King Jesus.
